Isnt' July 4th grand? Families together, on vacation, watching fireworks, kicking off the summer. We here at The Headquarters have a great holiday weekend planned and hope that you will join us!
On Friday, July 4th we have a couple of great things happening!
Our Urban Mobile Market will be set up on Harbor Drive. The Headquarters is the location of downtown’s newest “Pop-up Park” bringing some of the area’s top food, fashion and entertainment to The Headquarters. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. foodies and fashionistas can sample and discover the latest from top trending chefs and designers who will gather at The Headquarters in their mobile stores. Also enjoy live musicians in this unique outdoor lounge setting. To get a line up of this week's trucks you can go here.
We will also have live entertainment in our center courtyard from 1 pm - 6 pm with Manny Cepeda's Classic Salsa Band. Come dance the afternoon away! His group is sure to put on a dance-worthy show.
Then the big show! Big Bay Boom will be happening in our backyard. It wouldn't be the 4th of July without fireworks. Am I right? Get all the info about the show here. Fireworks start at 9 pm.
On July 5th the fun continues!
Start your morning off right with 30 minutes of conditioning and 30 minutes of yoga in our outdoor courtyard. $10 drop in rate. Bring your yoga mat and towel! Small location change from our past fitness events: July 5th's class will be located on the patio off of Seasons 52 (facing the Hyatt) due to the SoCal Etsy Guild Market being set up in the main courtyard.
Also happening on July 5th is our So Cal Etsy Guild Market! We invite you to a unique San Diego event. SoCal Etsy Guild Market will feature Southern California’s premier handmade artisan vendors in the beautiful setting of our intimate, outdoor courtyard. The market will include live art & music and free children’s activities. All products featured at the market will be handmade, vintage, artisanal food or art. This collection of merchants is one you won’t want to miss. Support local artists and buy handmade at the SoCal Etsy Guild Market, Saturday July, 5th from 10 am – 6 pm.
To end the weekend right on July 6th we will of course have our Farmers Market. From 10 am - 2 pm you can roam the streets and explore the ultimate source for local goods. There is nothing better than biting into a San Diego grown fresh strawberry or a juicy orange. Located at the historic Police Headquarters building, in the Seaport District, the Farmer's Market boasts tons of fresh produce, local artisans, incredible food purveyors and more.
