“Giving Tree” Lighting Benefiting the USO San Diego

The holidays are upon us and we’re celebrating by giving back. We are proud to host the second annual “Giving Tree” lighting at The Headquarters at Seaport District to benefit USO San Diego, a worthy organization that serves active-duty military and their families.

On November 28th, The Headquarters alongside USO San Diego officials and military families will kick off the month of giving with a 25 foot tree lighting, also known as “The Giving Tree”. The Giving Tree ceremony which begins at 6:30pm and continues until 8:30pm will feature complimentary hot cocoa and cookies, photos with Santa, and a performance by The All American Boys Chorus. Guests are encouraged to bring toy donations to the Giving Tree lighting ceremony.

After the tree is lit, join America’s most beloved and internationally acclaimed contemporary boys choir as they sing holiday favorites and audience sing-a-longs.  Visit with Santa and tell him what you want to find under your tree this year. Then, discover unique gifts for everyone on your holiday list at local boutiques such as Seaside Paper | Home, Urban Beach House, Geppetto’s Toys and Simply Local. Click here for a full list of the shops and restaurants located at The Headquarters.

Throughout the month of December, members of the community can drop off gifts for children up to 18 years of age and monetary donations for the USO San Diego at the Giving Tree as well as Geppetto’s Toys and Urban Beach House inside The Headquarters. The Giving Tree USO San Diego fundraiser commences on December 25th.

It’s a celebration you can’t miss! We hope to see you at The Headquarters on Nov. 28th to kick off the holiday season!
